The Gilding Arts Newsletter

Each Quarter The Gilding Arts Newsletter is published to member’s email offering articles on the Art of Gold Leaf Gilding featuring different methods and techniques of gilding including Traditional Water Gilding for frames, furniture, & architectural elements, Mordant/Oil Gilding, and Glass Gilding /Verre Églomisé. The Column Goings On in The Gilding World shares bits of interest that pop up around the world, from the presentation of gilded Buddhas from China and the openings of exhibits of Vermeer and Klimt to Happenings at The Salmagundi Club in New York!

Open to everyone and all levels The Gilding Arts Newsletter is a good way for gilding students to stay connected to the Charles Douglas Gilding Studio and the experience of continued learning about this beautiful ancient art so that learning continues beyond the classroom. Gilding questions are always welcome by email to the gilding studio and answers are often published in the next edition in the Glad You Asked That! Column so feel free to write!
